A touch of silver

While revamping your interior design with grey furniture, you may also find that adding silver accents (see wall mirror in picture below) will provide a very polished look. Try to keep it classy by mixing the silver with the other components such as the sofa, curtains etc. Also, if you live in a smaller space, limit silver to only 2 or 3 elements. You do not want your interior to look too cluttered!

Making room for a new sofa

Why not get a grey fabric sofa or corner sofa to use as an elegant centrepiece for your living room (see picture below)? If integrated well, a grey sofa is sure to emanate a steadying effect to the space around it. We love to use a large grey sofa as the perfect background for some punchy and colourful cushions.

How about a new rug?

A rug can and should be artwork for your floor! But that doesn’t mean it has to be garish. Have a look at the grey rug in the below picture: The geometric shapes and the variation between light and dark grey makes this interesting to look at without distracting from the rest of your room.

Paint it grey!

Finally, who cares about painting the walls, be bold and go for it. Grey is not just one colour, there are so many different shades, 50 is not even the start, the human eye can distinguish over 500 shades of grey. So when choosing a grey paint colour for your walls make sure that it is a warm inviting one. (see picture below).
